Giardino Verticale: Flexible Luxury in Dubai Marina
The Giardino Verticale (Vertical Garden) project transformed this beautiful three-bedroom apartment in Dubai Marina into a sanctuary of calm, optimized for flexible, luxurious living. With the children now studying in Europe, the clients wanted to sacrifice one bedroom to significantly enlarge the main living area and infuse the space with their love for greenery.
This renovation is defined by a commitment to flow, peace, and adaptability, ensuring the home perfectly meets the clients’ current needs while strategically preserving future resale value—a smart solution for luxury urban living.

Architectural Innovation & The Vertical Garden
To address the core challenge of gaining space without destroying the original three-bedroom configuration, a brilliant, hidden solution was implemented, defining the apartment’s artistic element, the “Van Gogh Heart of Flexibility.” To maximize living space while preserving adaptability, the original third bathroom was kept intact but completely concealed behind a massive, custom-made sliding door covered in an artistic Van Gogh-inspired wallpaper featuring a vibrant heart motif; this single door serves a double purpose, revealing the dedicated TV viewing area when slid right, or granting entry to the hidden bathroom when slid left, ensuring the apartment can be effortlessly transferred back to a three-bedroom layout for future buyers.
Complementing this, the clients’ love for nature was honored by integrating the outdoors to create a “Giardino Verticale” effect, achieved through a custom-made pillar wrapped in wood and integrated with vertical planters for a custom garden element, while a planter box full of greenery at the entrance establishes a pervasive atmosphere of calm and peace.
Luxury Finishes & Light
The remodel extended fully into the functional and private zones, ensuring high-end finishes and maximum illumination, where the entire kitchen and dining area were completely remodeled, featuring a new kitchen island housing a wine cellar and oven complemented by discrete cabinetry with an insert fridge, while the dining area is highlighted by a stunning chandelier made of stone glass crystal; furthermore, a dark passage was successfully addressed by installing continuous light elements on both the ceiling and the floor to brighten the corridor and enhance the sense of flow.
In the private zones, the master bedroom layout was completely redesigned to maximize space and view, and both the master bathroom, featuring beautiful blue stone-replicated tiles and custom cabinetry, and the powder room, showcasing striking blue stone-replicate tiles complemented by a tailor-made cabinet and an elegant glass bronze sink, reflect the client’s love for stone and crystals, ultimately creating a personalized sanctuary that harmonizes natural beauty with adaptable luxury, with every single room offering an amazing view of the Marina.
